With the major additions to the line-up this year, I along with my Tiger-rooting brethren are shocked to see an 0-4 record this season. Errrr’body thought the Tigers would beat the Royals, and I am still hoping they can pull a winning series from the White Sox.
The Tigers pitching has been luke warm in the first 4 games. Nothing horrible, minus Grille yesterday, but the bats have been comparatively silent, and base runners are being stranded.
Thanks God for Brandon Inge! He is their utility man who can play literally every role on the field. He lost his starting position to Miguel Cabrea, and it none too happy about not being a starter. In only the first four games, he has been playing all over the field, and has the hottest bat on the team (although he in the 9 hole).
I know the Tigers will be a contender for the title this year, but damn, lets see a win soon!
